I am the biggest skeptic, about everything. I never thought this would work. We adopted our poor, traumatized, adult girl Moon back in November. She's spent much of that 6+ months running and hiding and living in one room, under a dresser. I put Scaredy Cat in her water, and have for every day for 6 weeks or so. Couldn't be easier. Tonight, I'm sitting in the living room typing this, with my husband (her greatest nemesis) asleep on the couch and her knocked out on her bed on the floor, as relaxed as I've ever seen her. I'm scared to move and ruin the moment! All I can say is be patient and stick with it. It takes time. This cat is teaching me patience. I'm buying my second bottle now!
I love it. It really helps. I have 2 rescued Maine Coon Cats that are afraid of boots, shoes and men. If I get the Scaredy Cat on them 3 or 4 times a day it makes a world of difference. One cat has gained more self confidence and even comes out and will meet strangers. The other cat still has a ways to go but he is definitely getting better!! I have two tabby cats, who are sisters. One must have been the runt of the litter, since she is undersized. Her sister is normal sized. Being bigger, she is striving to be the Alpha female and constantly bullying the smaller cat. I purchased Scaredy Cat, and started applying it the smaller cat's fur, twice a day. Within two days, she started sticking up for herself, and actually chased the bigger cat upstairs!
But even better, I saw them both sunning themselves in the same spot without fighting for it. Five stars!
