Taking a bit of the edge off of the tensions my older cat has helps him tolerate our younger cat a little more. The flower essences really do help (just have to be consistent with it).
Have been using for about 7 years. When my cats & dog don't have it due to my being late in ordering they don't get along that great. When they have it my household is peaceful once again! Thanks Jackson! By the way, the Tummy drops work fantastic too! Able to stop a prescription med once I started my cat on these.
Our cats had a huge fight !! All started over a bag on head. Long story but was hell for three weeks at our house. Bought two books feliway and peacekeeper. The peacekeeper seemed to help immediately. Peace __ is back in our house. Thank you ??
About a year ago. I adopted three rescue senior cats. They were having difficulty getting along, with one blocking doorways, one hiding under the bed trying to never be seen and one wondering what was going on. I was at my wits end when, not by coincidence (Mojo?), I learned about Jackson Galaxy from the pet shelter. I ordered the Peacemaker solution and it immediately made a difference and continues to do so. Now there is much less confrontation among the cats and the Wallflower is actually walking across the middle of the room and meowing when she needs something. She allows me to be near her, although I still can't touch her. I use the Peacemaker as a spray on their bedding and hanging out spots. I also put some on my hand and then pet my doorway guard kitty, and notice a big reduction in this behavior. Now, two of the cats who like to sleep on the bed, can sleep near each other with no hissing, scratching or meowing.
First off, let me just say I am very skeptical about the holistic stuff out there, but I love this and I WISH I could buy this on auto renew (*wink wink*) Now with that out of the way, my situation. I have a 15-year old female whose been a single cat her whole life and a month ago we rescued a two-year-old male. Normally, there was NO WAY I'd go for this but he was so sweet and loveable I thought that they would be a good fit. We integrated the suggested Jackson Galaxy way, keeping the female in our bedroom (since she sleeps on our bed a lot) and the male to have the rest of the apartment (which isn't huge). They were very curious about each other but there wasn't really any aggression so my husband and I were letting the cats dictate when they'd be ready for the next step. We're onto supervised co-habitation. We seperate them at night and when we're at work. The problem...The male wants to play with the female. I'd like to state that they're both fixed and there hasn't been any sexual aggression. The female wants nothing to do with him in her face UNLESS she goes up to him. He cannot go up to her without her hissing and batting at him. The solution...Peacemaker mellows them both out. He can walk by her without her hissing or growling and he doesn't want to get in her face. This product has given us peace in our little home. We spray it every four days on all our rugs, the bed, and the couch. They get fresh water daily with three drops mixed in. They also get rubbed down generously on the top of the head, tops of the front paws and body in the mornings, nights and middays (if someone is home). I even started bringing the male into the bedroom and holding him while I pet the female. They're both calm, turn away from each other and even close their eyes and purr! I hope this product works for you as it did me. I would love more than anything if they became best friends one day!
