I feed my cat raw food, but when I have to leave the cats home for a while, I love this toy / dish. It makes them work for the dry food, and is a great way for them to keep stimulated when we're gone. It takes them a good amount of time to get through the food with this dish -- much longer than it would in a regular bowl. We move the fish around to keep it interesting. Love it!
Great quality! Purchased it to slow down my gobbler from eating too fast and then vomiting his food back up almost immediately thereafter. It is working as it is slowing DJ down and he walks away without cleaning his plate; then, he goes back later to complete his meal. ~Gail, New Jersey
It doesn't work for dry food to keep our cat from gorgeing.
I have 3 cats, and my biggest issue is that they eat too fast, and get sick. I've tried other slow feeders, but one of my cats would flip it over. The Go Fish works well since my cats have to figure out the ever changing puzzle, and have been eating slower. I only wish I had bought the bigger version for more puzzle options.
I have 5 cats and none of them liked this product. There's nothing fun about it or a 'game' as in the description. They won't eat their food or even treats off of it, not even out of the dish without the fish. Kittens would probably enjoy it. I'm disappointed I now have a $25 cat dish that isn't used.
